Rumor Roundup: The Original Plans For The Elimination Chamber, Big WWE Women’s Signing, More

3) Why There Were No Raises In WWE

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there were no raises in WWE due to the current stock prices.

Here is what Meltzer said:

“There was definitely a lot of unhappiness this week. A lot of the producers and — It’s because the profits are not as high as Wall Street was expecting and the stock has fallen and they are trying to rebuild the stock price. The stock price is a really big deal. So, that’s the reason.”

My Take:

  • As I noted in a previous article, WWE is a business that works for the shareholders and always will. It sucks for the employees but that is how it is and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

2) Another WWE Signing

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has signed another talent. The company has recently signed Clint Barrow, who is also known as Harlem Bravado.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

Add Clint Barrow aka Harlem Bravado to the list of names recently signed to WWE for the NXT brand.

My Take:

  • I don’t know anything about him but I am excited to learn more.
