1) The Original Plans For Seth Rollins’ Heel Turn
Seth Rollins turned heel a few weeks ago when he aligned himself with the AOP on an episode of Monday Night RAW. The rumor mill suggests that this wasn’t WWE’s original plan for Rollins’ turn.
According to journalist Tom Colohue, the recent minor injury to Rollins led to WWE pulling the trigger a bit early on his heel turn.
Colohue says that Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins were supposed to have a match at the TLC PPV. The turn was originally supposed to happen after that match. Here is what Colohue said:
“It was a little bit rushed. The injury, even if it was a small injury to Seth Rollins’ hand, did mean that he couldn’t wrestle at least for a little while, so they pulled the trigger a bit early.”
“It was supposed to be a match at TLC, it was supposed to be a heel turn in the days after, maybe on Monday night [after TLC], but they brought it ahead a little bit. I thought it still had a lot of impact, but it’s a real shame they couldn’t be on the TLC card to really follow it up.”
My Take:
- I still think that they did a good job with Seth’s turn. I am excited to see how they work together as a faction and I think they could be really good.
