3) Betting Favorites For Smackdown
According to WWELeaks, Jeff Hardy is the current betting favorite to win his match against Sheamus on Smackdown.
AJ Styles is also the favorite to beat Shinsuke Nakamura:
Hardy is a 13/20 favourite to progress into the next round. A decision in favour of Sheamus will pay out at 11/10.
Styles is favoured to win his meeting with Nakamura. He’s 11/25 and Nak is 8/5.
My Take:
- In my Smackdown predictions, I have Jeff beating Sheamus. After the match, I have Sheamus destroying Jeff to generate some heel heat. I also have Styles beating Nakamura but we will have to wait and see.
2) Why Bobby Roode Has Been Off WWE Television
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Bobby Roode hasn’t been on WWE television over the past few months because he lives in Canada. As a result, Roode can’t travel to the tapings since the borders are closed.
The Singh Brothers are currently in the same situation.
My Take:
- I am interested to see if WWE puts the Singh Brothers back with Jinder Mahal. My guess is no since Jinder is rumored to be on the receiving end of a big babyface push.
