Rumor Roundup: The Original Plan For Otis’ Cash-In, New Plans For The WWE Hall of Fame, More

1) The Original Plan For Otis’ Cash-In

According to journalist Tom Colohue, the original plan for Otis was for him to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. This would have came after King Corbin had won his first Championship.

Here is what Colohue had to say:

“The idea was that they could make a new star. But of course there have been many changes since. It was supposed to be The Fiend vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania with Roman winning the Championship. That would evolve into a Championship match for King Corbin.

King Corbin would be the man whom Otis would claim the briefcase on. Otis would be cashing in on King Corbin after he won his first Championship”

My Take:

  • I like Corbin but I am fine with him not winning the Universal Championship. I can’t lie though, it would have been funny to see Otis take the belt right from him.
