3) Big Push Nixed For Released NXT Superstar
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jordan Myles (aka ACH) was planned for a big push in NXT before his release.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
WWE was planning on giving him a big push on television as one of its rising NXT stars, but a series of out-of-the ring incidents led to him being gone from Orlando. Before he came back he went crazy on the company over the T-shirt incident. The t-shirt complaint was very valid, never should have happened. The company did respond. He had the right to be upset. But everything since then publicly has been concerning and hopefully he can find his peace
My Take:
- I am definitely not surprised since Myles won that breakout tournament in NXT. He would have likely been pushed pretty hard for the brand.
2) NXT Star Favored To Win The Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
According to the William Hill sportsbook, Velveteen Dream is the current betting favorite to win the 2020 men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Dream is currently leading at +700 odds to win.
Kevin Owens is currently in second place at +800 odds to win.
Four stars are tied at +1000, Big E, Adam Cole, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor.
My Take:
- Pretty interesting that three NXT stars are among the betting favorites. I think that a lot of fans would be down for an NXT star to win it in 2020.
