Rumor Roundup: The Future Of The Undisputed Era, USA Network Unhappy With WWE, More

1) The Future Of The Undisputed Era

Over the past few weeks, there have been a ton of rumors about Adam Cole and the future of the Undisputed Era. In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on the future of the group.

According to Meltzer, Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong are all staying with WWE for many years to come.

All four members are locked into long-term contracts with the company, which they signed last year:

WWE made sure to sign a lot of the NXT key talent to new long-term deals which included all four members of the Undisputed Era. So they are not about to be free agents for a long time, as in multiple years from now.

My Take:

  • This is not surprising as The Undisputed Era have been booked very well on NXT over the past several years. I would like to see WWE bring them to the main roster next and see what they can do. They are great in NXT but I would like to see them try something different. There are plenty of dream matches waiting for them on RAW or Smackdown.
