1) The Current Status Of The Revival
You have likely heard the rumors about The Revival rejecting WWE’s contract offers to them. They are expected to become free agents over the next few months.
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here), The Revival isn’t getting paid right now or they are receiving very little money from WWE.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Multiple sources within WWE have heard that The Revival either weren’t getting paid, or that it was “extremely scaled back” because they’ve already exceeded their downside guarantees.
It was also noted that The Revival is seeking “an amicable exit” from WWE.
My Take:
- The Revival to AEW seems more-and-more likely as the week’s progress. I would be surprised if they stay in WWE at this point.
