Rumor Roundup: The Backstage Attitude About Wrestlemania 36, WWE-Wembley Stadium, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) More Backstage Tidbits About The Boneyard Match

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline has corroborated the reports that Michael Hayes and Triple H were the leading minds behind the ‘Boneyard match’ between The Undertaker and AJ Styles.

Meltzer also says that the match was considered a big success for WWE and the company is expected to do more stuff like this moving forward. Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Regarding last night’s A.J. Styles vs. Undertaker match, Michael Hayes was the producer of the show and Paul Levesque was also very hands on with it. This was considered a huge success and I would expect more things like this going forward.

My Take:

  • Both the ‘Boneyard match’ and the ‘Firefly Fun House match’ were amazing. This definitely opens up a lot of possibilities about what WWE can do in the future.

4) Future WWE Event Coming To Wembley Stadium?

According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE has not discussed hosting a Wrestlemania event at Wembley Stadium in London. While saying that, the company has discussed hosting other WWE events at the stadium.

Here is what the account Tweeted:

My Take:

  • A future Summerslam, Survivor Series, or Royal Rumble would be dope from Wembley. Actually, I would take any PPV from the stadium and I am not even from the UK. I just think that it would be a really good atmosphere.
