3) NXT Superstar Injured
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Wes Lee of MSK suffered a legitimate injury a few weeks ago. This has postponed the match that was planned between MSK and Oney Lorcan & Dany Burch.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“Wes Lee did have a broken hand. He suffered that injury against the Grizzled Young Veterans on the TakeOver show on one of his dives. So, that’s why there’s no tag team title match with Lorcan and Burch vs MSK that was originally scheduled for Wednesday’s show, because he’s hurt.”
My Take:
- I have really enjoyed MSK so far. Hopefully he isn’t out for long.
2) The Possible Plans For Drew McIntyre
Bobby Lashley won the WWE Title on the latest episode of RAW. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer speculated that Drew McIntyre could be winning the belt at Wrestlemania 37. This is because Drew’s big title victory last year came with no fans in attendance.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
There’s the obvious thing of having McIntyre get his title win at Mania before 20,000 to 30,000 fans and get that Mania pop for a title win that he couldn’t get last year.
My Take:
- This would make sense. While saying that, I kind of want to see Lashley go on a long and dominant run with the belt.
