3) Update On The Next PPV After Money In The Bank
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Extreme Rules will be the next PPV event after Backlash and Money in the Bank. That event will be taking place on July 18th.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
WWE will hold their 2021 Extreme Rules PPV on Sunday 7/18, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The PPV is slated to broadcast from The Thunderdome.
My Take:
- Extreme Rules is always a solid PPV. It is not my favorite of the year but always seems to produce a few fun matches.
2) Update On The MLW-WWE Rumors
Over the past week, there have been some rumors that WWE and MLW have spoken about possibly working together.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), there have been discussions between the promotions. It was noted that these conversations were among those “high up in both companies”.
My Take:
- I would like to see it happen. Getting the developmental talent some more exposure seems like a really good thing.
