1) Role That Sin Cara Turned Down In WWE
Sin Cara was released from WWE on Sunday night. This came after he had asked for his release from the company a few months ago.
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Sin Cara turned down a role in WWE prior to his release.
Colohue says that Sin Cara was asked to go to 205 Live but he declined. Here is what Colohue had to say:
Sin Cara was one who was asked to go to 205 Live at some point and he declined, so he was shifted from RAW to SmackDown to RAW to SmackDown. It was difficult with a number of injuries, a couple of botches which stood out, from there on it was writing on the wall stuff. I think the release is probably the best call. I don’t think Sin Cara really fits the aesthetic of the WWE at the moment, but I can say that about a few more, of course.
My Take: I don’t blame Sin Cara because 205 Live’s future is unclear. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up getting canceled in 2020.
