3) One Superstar We Can Rule Out As Brock Lesnar’s Wrestlemania Opponent
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, we can rule out Edge as an opponent for Brock Lesnar.
Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):
“I do want to say this now that I remember certain things I’ve been told. It couldn’t be Edge. I was actually told flat-out that Edge is not wrestling Brock Lesnar. Not at the Royal Rumble and not at WrestleMania.”
My Take:
- I am definitely happy about this. If Edge does come back, the worst person he could face is Brock due to how he wrestles. We don’t need Edge taking any German-suplexes onto his neck.
2) Injured Star Spotted At The WWE Performance Center
Ruby Riott has been out of action since May. This is because she had surgery on both of her shoulders.
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Ruby was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center. Here is what he wrote:
Ruby Riott, who has been out of action since this past May, was spotted this morning at the WWE Performance Center.
WWE announced in May 2019 that Riott underwent successful surgery of a “bilateral injury” to her right shoulder and that she would undergo the same surgery for her left shoulder down the line. Riott underwent the second successful surgery in August 2019.
Riott, who will turn 29 this weekend, last wrestled for WWE at the 5/17/19 live event in Cardiff, Wales as part of a Fatal Four Way.
My Take:
- I am excited to see Ruby come back. She is very talented and I think that she would be a great addition to either the RAW or Smackdown women’s divisions. Hopefully, this is a sign that she will be back soon.
