1) Possible Name Change On Smackdown
According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, there has been some talk in WWE about changing the name of Shorty G.
The rumor going around is that he will be changing his name back to Chad Gable. Here is what the site wrote:
Another WWE source told WrestlingNews.co that fans should expect to see more underused talent on shows in the coming weeks. There has also been talk of having Chad Gable drop the “Shorty G” gimmick.
The same source says that McMahon has been more open to out-of-the-box ideas as of late as he looks for fresh ideas that could help boost the TV ratings.
My Take:
- This would make me so happy. I love Gable but I just couldn’t take him serious with the Shorty G nickname.
