Rumor Roundup: Plans For The WWE Title After Wrestlemania 36, Two Major Names Returning, More

3) Two Big Names Scheduled For Wrestlemania 36

John Pollock of POST Wrestling is also collaborating the report from Dave Meltzer that The Undertaker and John Cena will be on the Wrestlemania 36 card. Here is what Pollock wrote:

Both John Cena and The Undertaker are scheduled to wrestle on the show this year.

Meltzer reported last week that it will be The Undertaker vs AJ Styles and John Cena vs Elias.

My Take:

  • I have zero interest in John Cena vs Elias. I am really excited about The Undertaker vs AJ Styles though.

2) New WWE Performance Center Coming Soon

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will be opening a new Performance Center in Japan.

Here is what he wrote:

Expect the announcement of a Japan performance center in the next few months, maybe around summer time if everything goes as expected. They already reached out to Sen. Hiroshi Hase and Antonio Inoki about the political situation. The original thought was working with Pro Wrestling NOAH, but NOAH was sold to Cyberagent

My Take:

  • This would make sense as Triple H has been talking about opening up more Performance Centers around the World. I will be interested to see if they try to start a new NXT Japan show as they did with NXT UK.
