Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Plans For The Clash Of Champions PPV

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the Clash of Champions PPV will be taking place on September 26th. This will be held in Columbus, Ohio.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

The 2021 WWE Clash of Champions PPV will take place on Sunday 9/26 in Columbus, Ohio.

The show will take place at the Nationwide Arena.

My Take:

  • Clash of Champions is always a decent PPV. Nothing to get overly excited about though.

4) WWE Returning To MSG

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE will be returning to Madison Square Garden for an episode of Smackdown. This will be happening in September.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

World Wrestling Entertainment will finally return to NYC’S Madison Square Garden on Friday 9/10 for a Friday Night Smackdown taping, PWInsider.com has confirmed with sources at MSG.

New York City’s Madison Square Garden, long considered WWE’s home arena, returned to full capacity for the first time since shuttering during the COVID-19 pandemic with a Foo Fighters concert on 6/20. The legendary facility had been operating for New York Rangers and New York Knicks games at a limited capacity in recent months. The concert was the first show presented by MSG in over 460 days.

My Take:

  • I always love when WWE goes to MSG. It is a special building and always makes things a bit more fun.
