Rumor Roundup: Plans For The Women’s Tag Titles At Wrestlemania 36, Match Receiving Stipulation, More

3) How Much Money USA Network Is Paying For NXT

According to Bryan Alvarez, the USA Network pays around $25 million a year for the broadcast rights to NXT.

This comes after rumors a few months ago that suggested they weren’t paying WWE anything for the NXT rights.

My Take:

  • I figured that WWE wasn’t just airing the show for free as the rumors suggested. This makes sense and I am sure that the number will rise over the next few years.

2) The Next WWE PPV In Saudi Arabia

The current rumor going around is that the next WWE PPV event in Saudi Arabia will be taking place in October. This rumor comes via the Wrestling Club on Twitter:

Exclusively: A WWE worker yesterday assured us that the next wrestling show in Saudi Arabia will be in October, but the city has not yet been identified

This would continue the trend of WWE doing two of these PPV events in Saudi Arabia per year.

My Take:

  • This would make sense as these shows seem to happen in October and November every year. I can’t say that I am excited though after what we saw at WWE Super Showdown.
