Rumor Roundup: Plans For The Undertaker’s Character, Why Goldberg Beat The Fiend, More

3) Who Produced Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Adam Pearce produced the match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley at Wrestlemania 36.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

Speaking of which, to answer the many questions we have gotten about who Produced the match, we are told that former NWA Champion Adam Pearce was the Producer of what was the best in-ring encounter at Wrestlemania, putting it together with Flair and Ripley.

My Take:

  • Rhea vs Charlotte was definitely one of the best matches of the weekend in my opinion. They both did a great job, even with no fans in attendance.

2) More On The Precautions That WWE Is Taking Right Now

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE will be changing the ropes, turnbuckles, aprons, and ring canvas after every match during their upcoming tapings for RAW, Smackdown, and NXT. WWE is also planning to do a complete sanitizing of the WWE Performance Center as they work.

WWE will also be keeping employees in a single hotel while they are taping episodes:

Similar to Wrestlemania, they will bring in talents and have them all sequestered in one hotel that the company will take over, then tape all the material in waves to insure they follow CDC standards under the current environment.

My Take:

  • I am glad that WWE is taking these precautions to keep the talent safe. Still, I feel like this would be the perfect time for WWE to test out an offseason to see if it could work.
