Rumor Roundup: Plans For The Smackdown Women’s Title At Wrestlemania 36, Change Made To Title Match, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Change Made To Match At Wrestlemania 36

A few weeks ago, it was rumored that Beth Phoenix and Natalya would be facing Asuka and Kairi Sane at Wrestlemania 36. That would be for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. It appears as if those plans have now changed.

On Smackdown, Alexa Bliss called out The Kabuki Warriors for a Title match. Alexa has also been calling them out on social media. This has led to heavy speculation that we are heading towards Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs The Kabuki Warriors at Wrestlemania 36.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Beth Phoenix’s participation at Wrestlemania 36 is currently up in the air. As a result, we could still get Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs The Kabuki Warriors vs Beth Phoenix and Natalya.

My Take:

  • I would add Beth and Natalya to this match to make it a triple threat. It would spice things up a bit and I think that it would make things a bit more interesting.

4) Change Made To WWE Policy

Due to the current concern about coronavirus, WWE has made a policy change for meet & greets.

There is now a no-touching rule when you meet a Superstar:

My Take:

  • This sucks for the younger fans who want to hug their favorite Superstars. Still, it makes sense to protect everybody from spreading coronavirus, so it is hard to complain.
