3) The Original Plans For Randy Orton’s Attack On Ric Flair
According to WrestlingNews.co, WWE had originally planned to write off Ric Flair from television a few weeks ago. This plan was delayed a few weeks after Flair’s wife tested positive for COVID-19.
Here is what the site wrote:
WrestlingNews.co first reported last month about plans for Flair to be written off. The plan was to write him off a few weeks ago after the match between Orton and Big Show but Flair was kept off the show as a precaution after his wife Wendy Barlow tested positive for COVID-19.
My Take:
- It still worked out fine and now Orton has some momentum heading into Summerslam.
2) Samoa Joe’s Current Status
During a recent interview with Newsweek, MVP hinted that Samoa Joe will be returning to the ring soon.
Here is what MVP had to say:
What I understand, ole Samoa Joe is gonna be back in action and over the years Samoa Joe and I have been great friends, but we’ve never ever faced each other. At this stage of my career, I think I feel a lot more confident facing him, knowing that I got Bobby and Shelton backing me up—but I also know that wouldn’t phase Joe in the least.
My Take:
- I am definitely excited to see Joe back in the ring. I don’t see them putting the World Title on him because he seems to get injured a lot. While saying that, there are still many (personal) dream matches left for Joe in WWE, including against John Cena, Adam Cole, and more.
