3) Big Name To Miss The Royal Rumble?
According to Collider, season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to begin filming in early 2022. This show features Sasha Banks, which could mean that she will be forced to miss the 2022 Royal Rumble PPV.
Here is what the report from Collider says:
We hear the plan is for The Mandalorian Season 3 to begin filming at the end of this year, or in very early 2022. What that means is the season will not be premiering on Disney+ until late 2022.
My Take:
- This is still a long ways away, so we will have to wait and see. Sasha not being in the Rumble would be a big loss for WWE though as she is a big name and can stay in the ring for 30+ minutes.
2) Big Name Not Scheduled For Summerslam
According to Andrew Zarian on Twitter, Brock Lesnar is not currently planned for Summerslam.
Here is what Zarian Tweeted:
“To add to some of the reports I’m seeing from good sources like @SeanRossSapp, @JonAlba, and @WrestleVotes,The main event currently for SummerSlam is planned for Cena vs Reigns. Lesnar was in consideration for this show but I have not heard that it’s happening.
“Expect Lesnar to return at some point but I personally have not been told he is on the card for sure. I know there were some reports regarding this and it’s not accurate.”
My Take:
- I am fine with this. Save Brock’s return for Wrestlemania.
