3) Why Lars Sullivan Is Still On WWE TV
Lars Sullivan’s name has been surrounded by controversy for a while now. He has made some controversial comments in the past and a lot of fans question why WWE is still using him on television.
According to @Wrestlevotes, Lars doesn’t have many supporters in the WWE locker room. The account teases that Vince McMahon (without naming him) is the main person in charge of pushing Lars:
My Take:
- I just feel like the Lars investment isn’t worth it. It seems like every few months there is something new that comes out about inappropriate comments said by him.
2) Update On WWE’s Plans Survivor Series
There was a rumor going around that WWE was looking into traveling again (for weekly episodes of RAW and Smackdown) after their ThunderDome contract expires. We have an update for you.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has extended its contract with the Amway Center for another month. This means that Survivor Series will be taking place at the ThunderDome:
PWInsider.com has confirmed that the company will be producing Raw and Smackdown out of Orlando’s Amway Center, extending the length of the ThunderDome concept at least another four weeks.
WWE’s original deal with the Amway Center in Orlando was set to expire on 10/31, but we are told the company will be there at least through the end of November.
My Take:
- This seems like the smartest decision based on everything going on in the world right now. The Thunderdome has worked and I don’t think they should rush into traveling yet.
