1) NXT Star Is Rumored To Be Unhappy
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Io Shirai is said to be “not necessarily happy” with how she’s being used in NXT.
Shirai is also said to be unhappy being away from her fiance, EVIL, who currently works for New Japan Pro Wrestling. It is also rumored that Shirai was making more money when she was working in Japan.
This goes along with the recent rumors that Bushiroad is going to offer Shirai a lot of money to return to STARDOM when her contract expires.
My Take:
- WWE needs to offer her a lot of money to stay. Selfishly, there are so many dream matches that I want to see Shirai have in WWE before she leaves. Shirai vs Becky Lynch, Shirai vs Sasha Banks, and Shirai vs Asuka are ones that immediately come to mind. Let’s hope that these rumors are not true.
