Rumor Roundup: New Vince McMahon Orders Before Going Back To Live Shows, Good News On The Miz, More

3) Backstage Reaction To Logan Paul In WWE

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, people in WWE feel that Logan Paul was great to work with. Logan seemed to be open to working with WWE again in the future as well.

Here is what Sapp wrote:

Logan Paul got booed heavily, and WWE read the room very well by having Kevin Owens hit him with a Stunner. We’ve heard from WWE staff that Logan Paul had been very easy to work with throughout the process. One said that he was very excited and massively respectful to the process, while another told us that he seemed open to working with WWE again in the future and treated it appropriately. We’ve not heard of any specific complaints regarding Paul from anyone we’ve spoken to.

My Take:

  • I could see WWE bringing in Logan again, along with his brother Jake Paul. Love or hate them, they have massive followings and WWE will likely want to use that to their advantage.

2) Good News About The Miz

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, The Miz only suffered a partial ACL tear. This is great news as it won’t keep him out of action for the 9 months that a full tear can take.

Here is what Meltzer said:

He didn’t have major surgery so it looks like it was a partial tear and not a full. So, that’s a lot better. That’s not going to be 9 months off, it’ll be a lot quicker. If he had surgery at this point in time he would have crutches right now.”

My Take:

  • This is fantastic news. Full ACL tears can also be career ending, so it seems like Miz caught a break.
