Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Considered Another Host For ‘RAW Underground’.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), WWE considered another host for ‘RAW Underground’, instead of Shane McMahon. Sapp says that former NFL player, A.J Francis, was considered for the role.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
WWE have been high on Francis as a host for quite some time, and he had actually been in consideration for hosting Raw Underground at one point.
My Take:
- I don’t know a ton about Francis but I am excited to see what happens with him in the future. Sounds like his future is bright.
4) WWE Game Shows Coming Soon?
According to Cablefax, WWE Studios and the Game Show Network will be producing some new game shows together.
Here is an excerpt from the report:
Game Show Network announced a development deal with WWE Studios.
The two will work together to develop new game formats and showcase WWE talent as hosts. Projects will be produced by WWE Studios for Game Show Network.
The net boasted at its upfront Thursday that it’s one of the 10 biggest networks for growth in total day and prime. Shows with new eps coming in 2021 include “Master Mind” and “People Puzzler.”
My Take:
- I would be down to see a few WWE-related game shows. Could be fun.
