3) How Much WWE’s New Interim CFO Is Being Paid
Frank A. Riddick III was recently named the interim Chief Financial Officer of WWE. According to Wrestling INC, Riddick is making some big money in this new role. Here is an excerpt from their report on his salary:
Riddick’s salary is $66,666.67 bi-weekly ($1.6 million per year). The salary covers all hours worked during a given work week or other time period. While a standard work week is 40 hours, the hours are subject to business needs as determined by the company at their discretion.
It is also noted that the contract is “at-will”, which means that either party can end his employment at any time.
My Take:
- A $66,000 paycheck sounds nice every two weeks. It will be interesting to see how long that Riddick lasts with the company.
2) Gerald Briscoe Clarifies His Current WWE Status
It was reported this week that Gerald Briscoe had been released by WWE. This came as a surprise as he has been with the company since the 1980’s.
Briscoe revealed on Twitter that he was actually furloughed by WWE and not fully released:
My Take:
- This is good news as Brisco will likely be hired right back after things get back to normal. This will likely be the same for all of the producers that were furloughed.
