3) Backstage Note About Xavier Woods
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Xavier Woods asked for some time off but it was only for a week.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Woods had also asked for a week off so they did the angle Lashley injured him, but he’s also back this coming week
My Take:
- Woods will be a key piece in the storyline between Kofi Kingston and Bobby Lashley. I am happy that he isn’t going to be off television for a long period of time.
2) Backstage Note On Damian Priest
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Damian Priest asked for time off due to personal reasons after Wrestlemania 37. Priest was also dealing with an injury even before Wrestlemania but the time off was not due to injury.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Priest returned on Raw. He was hurt before Mania did the show, and then asked for time off for reasons not disclosed
My Take:
- I am happy that Priest is back. I could see him maybe as the next challenger for Sheamus and the U.S Title.
