3) Backstage Reaction To Jason Jordan’s New Role In WWE
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Cone and Jason Jordan are being praised backstage for their new roles in the company. Cone replaced Mark Carrano in his Talent Relations role. Jordan took over as the new Lead Producer for the company.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
John Cone, who has replaced Mark Carrano as the number two in the talent relations department, has been getting high marks from talents we’ve spoken to and is well liked thus far into his tenure under John Laurinaitis. Jason Jordan is also said to be excellent in his new responsibilities. There have been some additions to the staff of that department with new non-wrestling personnel as well.
My Take:
- Great to hear that Cone and Jordan are doing well in their new roles. I still wish Jordan was able to wrestle but glad to see him still thriving.
2) Backstage Note On The Booking Of Hell In A Cell
According to Ringside News, WWE has not yet booked the entire card for the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. WWE is still making changes to the show and figuring out what they want to do.
Here is what the site wrote:
Ringside News asked around about the status of the Hell in a Cell card. We were told that “the entire card has not only not been booked.” At this point “what has been booked is already changing drastically.”
Nothing has been decided for Hell in a Cell just yet. Those plans that they did have needed to be shifted around. The company is closing up May and now has less than one month to book Hell in a Cell. Odds are those matches will start coming in slowly.
My Take:
- This doesn’t surprise me as this seems to be how Vince McMahon operates.
