1) King Corbin Upset Over Matt Riddle Plans
King Baron Corbin is reportedly unhappy about the upcoming plans for him and Matt Riddle to feud on Smackdown.
According to Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda, WWE has been planning the feud between Corbin and Riddle for a while now. Corbin reportedly feels like Riddle should have to beat some enhancement talents before he gets to face him.
Here is what Cassidy Tweeted:
Meanwhile, the plan for Matt Riddle’s first major opponent outside of NXT to be Baron Corbin has been in place for a while – as illustrated at both Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble.

The plans for Riddle to debut on SmackDown and work with Corbin were ramped up back in March.
My Take:
- I am actually a bit surprised that they didn’t have Riddle win a few enhancement matches on Smackdown first. That tells me the company could have some big plans in store for him on the blue brand.
