3) Update On Humberto Carrillo
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Humberto Carrillo was not injured during his match against Sheamus on RAW.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
For those who asked, the original finish for Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo last night was for Sheamus to go over. Obviously, they stopped the match when the sunset flip powerbomb spot went awry. We are told Carrillo is fine and will only miss ring time if the company decides to sell an injury coming out of the bout. He would be fine to wrestle immediately if needed.
My Take:
- This is great news as it looked like it might have been really bad. Glad that they stopped the match to be safe.
2) Update On Jeff Hardy
There has recently been some speculation about Jeff Hardy’s future. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Jeff still has a decent amount of time on his WWE contract, so fans shouldn’t expect anything to happen with him in the near future.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
*We are told by a WWE source that Hardy still has “a good chunk of time left on his deal” as he acknowledged last year that he had signed a new deal. At the time, PWInsider.com was told that new deal was in the 2-3 year range,
My Take:
- I am sure that Jeff will receive an offer from AEW when his contract does expire. The Hardy Boyz in AEW for one final run would be fun.
