1) Faction Idea Nixed By Vince McMahon
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Randy Orton wanted to form an official stable with The Revival.
Orton apparently went directly to Vince McMahon with the idea to keep them together long-term. This idea was rejected by Vince:
We’re told by multiple sources that Orton pushed to do more work with them, even going as far as pitching a faction to Vince McMahon personally.
The idea fell on deaf ears and Orton and the Revival were put on different brands in the WWE draft.
The trio was together for several weeks on WWE television during Orton’s storyline with Kofi Kingston.
