1) Dominick Mysterio’s Future In WWE
Dominick appeared on this week’s episode of RAW alongside his father, Rey Mysterio. During the segment, it seemed like WWE was teasing a match between Dominick and Seth Rollins for the future.
According to journalist Tom Colohue, a lot of people in WWE are high on Dominick and his development. Here is what Colohue said:
“Mysterio wants to wrestle alongside his son before he retires and Dominick is still training and training well. A lot of people are quite high on that guy. They don’t think he’s ready just yet but that time is coming. The day is coming, certainly not next week on RAW.”
It is also worth noting that WrestlingNews.co says there have been long-standing rumors that Dominick could be turning heel:
It looks Dominik is being integrated into weekly storylines and it is being strongly hinted that a heel turn is coming.
There have been rumors of a heel turn for Dominik since Rey teased his retirement in late 2019.
My Take:
- I am not surprised that Dominick’s training is going well. I am sure that he is working very closely with Rey. A heel turn would be a wild twist but I could see Dominick turning on his dad and joining Seth Rollins’ crew.
