Rumor Roundup: Charlotte Flair’s Return Timeframe, The Original Plans For Liv Morgan, More

1) Charlotte Flair’s Return Timeframe

Charlotte Flair was injured during the latest episode of RAW. This came at the hands of Nia Jax. After RAW was over, WWE provided a storyline update, saying that Charlotte might have fractured her collarbone.

Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT is reporting that Charlotte will be taking an extended break from WWE. This will be for personal time and to also have some surgery done. Here is what McCarthy wrote about when she is expected to return:

Sources have told talkSPORT that Flair will be taking an extended break from WWE. The 34-year-old has been a constant on the show for years now and she is going to be taking some personal time and having some surgery.

The idea is that she will return around Royal Rumble season next year, but if a good story pops up before then – around Survivor Series – she would be open to return later this year.

Despite what is being rumored, McCarthy says he has been told there is no chance that Charlotte comes back for Summerslam:

Our sources said: “There’s a 0 percent chance Charlotte returns for SummerSlam.”

My Take:

  • Charlotte has been a workhorse for WWE for a while now and I am glad to see her get a break. I think that it might be a case of absence makes the heart grow fonder with her. This because fans seem to be sick of her being overexposed. Maybe an extended break will do her some good.
