Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Big Match Planned For Roman Reigns?
According to a rumor from Cageside Seats, there has been a lot of talk about Roman Reigns’ storyline eventually leading to a match against The Rock.
Here is what the site wrote:
There’s been increasing talk that a lot of this family related stuff with Roman Reigns is leading to a match down the line with The Rock.
My Take:
- I would absolutely love to see Roman vs The Rock. While saying that, I just don’t think that it is going to happen. The Rock is one of the most famous people in the world and he prints money. I don’t think that he would risk a possible injury. The match would be great but I am not sold on it happening.
4) The Next Call-Up From NXT
There has been a lot of speculation as of late about Rhea Ripley possibly moving from NXT to the WWE main roster soon.
This (mostly) comes after Shotzi Blackheart’s comments during a recent interview with Give Me Sport. Here is what she said:
“The main roster is the main goal. That’s why we’re at NXT. So every time someone moves up to the main roster it’s awesome. I think Rhea Ripley [will be called up next]. I don’t know what’s taking so long, honestly! She belongs up there, she’s a superstar. I think very soon she’ll be gone. That makes me sad because she’s one of my favorite tag team partners, but she deserves it”
My Take:
- This is obviously just speculation but it would make sense. Rhea has done pretty much everything possible in NXT. It seems like the main roster is the next step. She would be a great addition to either the RAW or Smackdown women’s division.
