Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Has Nothing Definitive Planned For TLC
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has nothing definitive planned for the upcoming TLC PPV. The only thing that is on the card right now is Drew McIntyre vs Braun Strowman.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“I wish I could tell you more. I know as of the afternoon, one of the things I heard there’s nothing definitive about TLC. You would think, they would have a whole card and now we’re going to start building the card. I was told they have no card except for Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman, that’s the only thing.
My Take:
- I still don’t even think that Drew vs Braun is going to happen either. This means that WWE is booking this card on the fly and they don’t appear to have any long-term plans in place. It will be interesting to see how the final card turns out (you should check out my TLC match Predictions next).
4) Update On Aleister Black’s Future
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has forgotten about Aleister Black and his future does not look bright with the company.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“… he’s forgotten about right now and it doesn’t look good. I know he threw a suggestion out there to go to NXT and that was turned down, or whatever, it was not taken. He’s – you know the people in charge now don’t see anything in him it appears. It’s tough, he’s a talented guy.”
My Take:
- I expect Aleister to leave WWE when his contract expires. After what happened with his wife, Zelina Vega, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
