Rumor Roundup: Big Wrestlemania Matches Being Considered For John Cena, Plans For The Undertaker, More

3) WWE Is Talking To Indie Promotions About Content

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been talking to indie promotions in the United States about putting their content on the WWE Network.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

WWE has been making some overtures to some U.S inde companies regarding tape libraries for new network content. This isn’t new and was part of the premium tier idea, but with the new idea, nobody knows what this means for the tiers idea.

My Take:

  • Imagine that WWE could buy PWG’s content library? That would be a great fit for the WWE Network as a lot of Superstars wrestled for PWG at some point.

2) Early Favorite To Win The Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

According to the sportsbook William Hill. Kairi Sane is the current favorite to win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Shayna Baszler are all tied in second place:

  • Kairi Sane (4 to 1)
  • Asuka (6 to 1)
  • Charlotte Flair (6 to 1)
  • Shayna Baszler (6 to 1)
  • Sasha Banks (8 to 1)
  • Nikki Cross (10 to 1)

My Take:

  • Kairi Sane would be a great choice as the Money in the Bank winner. Sasha Banks would be my current bet though, which leads to her potentially cashing in on Bayley (if they don’t turn on one another prior to Wrestlemania 36).
