Rumor Roundup: Big Update On The Plans For NXT, Covid-19 Outbreak In NXT? More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) NXT Covid-19 Outbreak?

Over the past day or so, reports started to circulate that there may have been another COVID-19 outbreak in WWE, which will affect NXT. On Twitter, Dave Meltzer confirmed these reports, saying:

The NXT COVID outbreak story is accurate. Lots of positive tests.

Meltzer also added the following:

I don’t know of the names who tested positive as those are kept under wraps, or those quarantined, but it definitely affects the Wednesday show.

My Take:

  • This comes after the reports that Vince is cracking down on anyone who is not following COVID-19 protocols.

4) Where WWE Is Moving The ThunderDome After They Have To Leave Tropicana Field

WWE is going to be forced to leave Tropicana Field soon. This is due to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays starting their season and needing their stadium. So where is WWE going next?

Jon Alba is reporting that WWE will be moving the ThunderDome to the Yuengling Center, which belongs to the University of South Florida. The capacity of the Yuengling Center is much smaller than Tropicana Field, holding about 10,000 fans. This change is expected to happen after Wrestlemania 37.

My Take:

  • This won’t be a far move for WWE as the Yuengling Center is also in Tampa Bay, similar to Tropicana Field.
