Rumor Roundup: Big Update On Charly Caruso’s WWE Future, Triple H Absent From NXT, More

3) Triple H Absent From NXT

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H missed this week’s episode of RAW and NXT. Speculation is that he may have been in contact with someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

The biggest name involved was Paul Levesque. His situation is being kept secretive but it was said he was quarantining, but not that he has COVID. He missed Raw on 3/15 and also wasn’t at NXT on 3/17.

My Take:

  • We will let you know if we hear anything more but hopefully Triple H is just quarantining out of precaution.

2) NXT COVID-19 Outbreak

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer spoke about the recent COVID-19 outbreak in NXT. Meltzer says that this outbreak possibly came from March 11th, where there were people working who were not following COVID-19 protocol.

Here is what he wrote:

Regarding the COVID positives, one of the things people were saying is that on 3/11, they were building and moving rings in the building next to the Performance Center and some of the people working weren’t following protocol and wearing masks. Now it’s been noted to us that the belief is some got it from that, but the issue came earlier because there were people who were sick on 3/12, and the belief is it takes two days from exposure to sickness, so that at least some people got it prior to 3/11.

My Take:

  • I am sure that Vince McMahon won’t be very happy about this. Protocol will likely tighten up, especially since we are so close to Wrestlemania.
