According to WrestlingNews.co, WWE officially are still hoping for Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey to happen at some point.
The feeling backstage is that it would be best to save this match until Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles. Here is what the site wrote:
For those of you wondering, we haven’t heard news on what the plans are for her when she returns but we don’t know that WWE officials still hope to have her face Ronda Rousey in a singles match. WrestleMania 38 in Dallas has been discussed but others in the company feel that it would be better to hold that match off until WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles since that is Rousey’s hometown and having L.A. host the show would guarantee more mainstream publicity.
My Take:
- Ronda is also pregnant right now, so I don’t see her having her baby and then rushing back for Wrestlemania 38. Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles seems like the perfect place for the match. I still want to see it happen before both of them retire.
