Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Unique Stipulation Match Discussed For Summerslam
According to a report from Ringside News, WWE has been discussing an interesting stipulation match for Mandy Rose at Summerslam.
That stipulation would be a “hair match” between Mandy and Sonya Deville. One of them would lose their hair if they were to lose. Here is what the site wrote about those now scrapped plans:
Ringside News has learned that WWE was discussing a SummerSlam match between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville with an interesting stipulation. It was proposed that they have a “hair match.”
This never got past the planning phase and was scrapped. The idea was out there that Rose and Deville would put their hair on the line in another match that would seemingly be a blow-off with that kind of stipulation attached.
My Take:
- The only way this makes sense is if one of them was planning to go really short with their hair. If not, that would be a tough sell for either of them.
4) Asuka’s Next Feud
On RAW Talk, a match between Kairi Sane and Asuka was heavily teased for Summerslam.
Kairi said on the show that she is ready for Asuka. Asuka responded by saying that she wants to face Asuka as well:
My Take:
- This would make a ton of sense as Asuka’s match at Summerslam. Especially with the rumors of Kairi possibly leaving the company when her contract expires. I hope that it happens as it could be really good.
