5) Backstage Note On Damian Priest’s Absense
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Damian Priest was off WWE television due to personal reasons and not because of any injury.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Damian Priest returned to Raw last night. We are told he had been off TV dealing with some personal matters.
My Take:
- I am just happy that Priest is back and he looks good. I am a big fan of his and am pulling for him to do well.
4) Vince McMahon To Personally Scout Talent
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Vince McMahon will be heading to the WWE Performance Center this week to scout talent.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
This major scouting effort has led to influential names in the company personally coming to the Performance Center to scout talent, with Vince McMahon being scheduled to be there this week, with Thursday being the date
My Take:
- This tells me that a lot of NXT Superstars will be getting called up in the next draft. Vince likely wants to get a good look at them before deciding.
