3) RAW Star Is Injured
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Morrison injured his knee on the latest episode of RAW.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Morrison injured his knee doing a dive. He continued the match but you could see the knee was hurting and later in the show when he had to come out with Miz, he was walking pretty slow.
My Take:
- Morrison has been doing some good work lately, so I hope it isn’t serious. His match against Matt Riddle was awesome.
2) New RAW Star Impresses Backstage
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Damian Priest has impressed WWE officials backstage since making his main roster debut.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
If you couldn’t tell, Damian Priest made a positive impression in WWE the past three weeks. High level sources that Fightful spoke with said that Damian Priest was extremely well liked and turned heads both during his Royal Rumble appearance, as well as his WWE Raw debut.
My Take:
- Priest has been great so far and I am excited to see more from him.
