Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Big Name Returning To NXT Soon
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Karrion Kross is expected to make his return to NXT soon.
Kross has been out of action since Summerslam weekend, where he suffered a separated shoulder. Meltzer noted that Kross should be back really soon.
My Take:
- I am excited to see Kross back. I can’t wait to see him face off against Finn Balor for the NXT Title. Maybe at the next Takeover event?
4) NXT Star Receiving Praise Backstage
Fightful inquired to people in WWE about who in the company has been working hard to improve. One of the names that were brought up to them was Dexter Lumis.
Here is what the site wrote about Lumis:
Dexter Lumis was one of a few NXT names that was mentioned as working hard to improve, based on our Brass Ring series. His name was actually brought up to us before his NXT push, but he was nominated based on his willingness to work to get on the show to begin with.
After he got the push, we asked several wrestlers about Lumis, all of whom agreed he’d delivered in the opportunity he was given. One told us “it would have been really easy for him to give up on himself or the gimmick because he wasn’t on TV for five years. He did a lot of different stuff and people don’t realize how multi-talented he is.”
My Take:
- I am a fan of Lumis and I am excited to see his career develop. Sounds like he is doing his best to improve and move up the card on NXT.
