3) Update On Natalya
Natatlya was recently a guest on the Table Talk podcast. During this, she provided some news on when fans can expect her to return to the ring.
Natalya says that her return timeline is about a month from now:
“I probably have another week before I get my stitches out. I’ve gotta let my bone heal a little bit. But probably in the next little bit, probably under a month, we’ll see, obviously I still have to get a doctor’s clearance.”
My Take:
- This is a lot shorter than I was expecting after it was announced she would have surgery. That is definitely great news.
2) Bray Wyatt Signed A Deal With WWE Several Months Before His Release
According to Sports Illustrated, Bray Wyatt signed a new contract with WWE back in 2020. He was released from the company several months after signing this deal.
Here is what the site wrote:
Rotunda lost leverage when he signed his last contract. As The Fiend, Rotunda had reinvented and re-established his character, outselling the rest of the company on merchandise. He signed a new multimillion-dollar deal in 2020, yet agreed to the 90-day noncompete clause. Had he not done that, there would have been potential for him to be part of AEW immediately.
My Take:
- Sounds like a familiar situation to Braun Strowman. Signed a big contract and then the company let him go.
