According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Eva Marie was written off television because she is filming a movie.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Eva Marie was written out with the Baszler injury and not drafted because she’s working on a movie for a while
My Take:
- Eva has been decent in her return so far. Would like to see more from her when she is back.
2) Backstage Note On The Plans For Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE is planning to use Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez more in the tag team division moving forward.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
*There’s been talk over the last week of shifting Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez into a tag team going forward.
My Take:
- Makes sense based on how well the pairing of AJ Styles and Omos has gone. I am sure WWE wants to do the same with Apollo and Azeez.
