1) Backstage Notes On The Summerslam Location
According to reporter Jon Alba, the consensus in WWE is that the company wants to host Summerslam outside of the state of Florida.
It was also noted by Alba that a “major venue out west” is being considered for the host of Summerslam. Here is what Alba Tweeted:
I’ve checked around locally, and the general consensus is #WWE would like to be out of Florida for this if possible (which, by the day, seems to be). I’ve heard from multiple sources a major venue out west is being considered.
My Take:
- My speculation is that Las Vegas is being strongly considered by WWE. I don’t know why but that is where my mind went to when I saw “major venue out west”. I am interested to see what actually happens.
