3) The Rock’s Current Status For Wrestlemania 36
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there has been no mention internally about WWE using The Rock at Wrestlemania 36.
Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):
“The only rabbit they could pull out of the hat that’s bigger than Austin is Dwayne [Johnson], you know and I don’t sense that. I don’t know it’s interesting because you know Dwayne does eventually get involved in some form even just a promo for Mania and I haven’t heard his name mentioned at all.”
My Take:
- Wrestlemania is already loaded with names from the past like The Undertaker, Goldberg, and Edge. I don’t think that they will bring in the Rock but you never know. I am always down for a promo or segment from him.
2) The Original Plan For The Women’s Tag Team Titles At Wrestlemania 36
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the original match planned for the Women’s tag team belts at Wrestlemania 36 was The Kabuki Warriors vs Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
That has now changed, with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross likely joining in to turn it into a triple threat match.
My Take:
- I would like to see Alexa and Nikki involved. They might as well include them or they would just be in the women’s battle royal.
