In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer also provided an update on the future of the Mae Young Classic.
According to Meltzer, WWE is waiting until 2020 for the next tournament:
They were planning the Mae Young Classic for 11/2 and 11/3 in Orlando but then abruptly had a change of plans and decided against holding one until 2020.
