In case you missed it, some fans walked out early at Backlash on Sunday night. This was prior to the main event match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe [you can watch the video here].
So how did Vince McMahon react to fans walking out?
According to WrestlingNews.co, Vince McMahon wasn’t furious like some rumors have been suggesting. According to a source, Vince apparently chalked it up to the show running late. Here is a quote from the article:
“Look, there is work that needs to be done to get [Reigns] over but the whole idea that fans were walking out because they were protesting is absurd. Vince no sold it backstage and he chalked it up to the show running late until 11:30. Fans wanted to beat the traffic and kids needed to go to school on Monday. Simple as that. If Vince was upset he sure didn’t show it backstage. He wasn’t expecting this massive face reaction in the New York market. It was business as usual and it didn’t seem to bother him.”
