Rumor On The Top Smackdown Matches Planned For The TLC Card

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), here are the Smackdown matches that are currently planned or being discussed for TLC.

The first match mentioned by Meltzer is Roman Reigns vs King Corbin with some sort of stipulation involved. This was one of the matches that were being advertised by the Target Center in Minneapolis several weeks ago. It is still scheduled to happen.

Meltzer says that the main event of TLC will likely be ‘The Fiend’ vs Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship. This match hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but it is expected to be added to the TLC card soon.

Another match that is rumored for the card is The New Day vs Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. Meltzer notes that this match is currently being discussed by WWE and isn’t a lock.

Meltzer also notes that Shinsuke Nakamura vs Braun Strowman for the Intercontinental Championship is being discussed for the card. This is another one that isn’t a lock but is being rumored for the event.

How do any of those matches sound? Let me know in the comment section below.
