Rumor On The Original Plans For The Brock Lesnar-Seth Rollins Segment On RAW This Week

RAW this week saw Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar going face-to-face. After exchanging some words, this lead to a brawl between them. Seth got the better of things after hitting Brock with a low-blow.

The segment ended with Seth hitting ‘The Stomp’ on Brock and holding the Universal Championship over his head.

According to a rumor, these were not the original plans for the segment.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), says that Vince McMahon switched things up at the last minute.

The original plan for the segment was for Lesnar to be the one standing tall prior to Wrestlemania. Instead, Vince changed it so that Seth would be the one to get the better of Brock prior to their match.

My Take: I am definitely now concerned that Brock could be retaining the Title on Sunday. I like Brock but it is time for the Universal Championship to be on someone who is full-time. I was confident in Seth winning but this ending on RAW has made me question things.
